Henri Cartier-Bresson

Cartier-Bresson Inner Silence

French photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson (1908-2004 ) travelled all over the world during his long career, pioneering the use of the small-format camera to capture life being lived, both on the grand stage of world events and the smaller stage of ordinary people’s everyday lives. Often ranked as the world’s greatest photographer, his work combines spontaneity and humanity with a keen eye for form and composition.
