Ansel Adams
Ansel Adams (1902-1984) is the legendary American master of landscape photography and developer of the Zone System. His photographs of the Yosemite Valley are famous for their technical perfection and control as well as for their majestic beauty, and have influenced and inspired countless other landscape photographers. Adams’ work shows a devoted environmentalist commitment, and his many manuals on photographic technique have become standard reference works.
